Privacy policy

Who is responsible. Mohive is run by Senad Bushati, Albania. Questions and requests: hello@mohive.app.
Mohive is for people aged 16 and over.
What Mohive stores
- Your account: your email address, and your name and photo if you sign in with Google.
- Your profile: name, photo, headline, location, and whatever you add: bio, experience, education, skills, links, a CV.
- Your requests: what you ask for, the files you attach, who you shared them with and your notes to them.
- What you do with requests that reach you: whether you applied, shared it on or said you can't help, and what you sent with an application.
- Your connections, invitations and invite links.
- Your messages.
- Blocks and reports you make.
- What you told us when you joined: when you agreed to this policy and the terms, whether you want news by email, and how you heard about Mohive if you said.
Mohive does not store contact details of people who are not on Mohive, and has no advertising or tracking.
Who sees what
- A connection sees only your card: name, photo, headline, location.
- Someone you apply to sees your card, your note, and the parts of your profile you ticked, as they were at that moment.
- The person who sent you a request knows it reached you. The people you share it with see it came from you.
- The person asking sees you by name only if they shared the request with you directly, if you applied, or if you chose to show yourself. Otherwise you are "Someone".
- A private request hides who is asking from everyone except the people they shared it with directly and the people they replied to.
Who processes the data for Mohive
- Supabase (database, sign-in, file storage), in the EU (Frankfurt).
- Cloudflare (serves the website and the app, and counts visits for us: which pages are opened, from which country and with what kind of browser and device. This uses no cookies and does not identify you).
- Resend (sends sign-in codes and notification emails).
- Google, only if you choose "Continue with Google".
- Groq (United States) turns speech into text, only if you press the microphone while writing a request. What you say is recorded in your browser (at most two minutes), sent to Groq through our server, written out as text, tidied up and given a short title, and then discarded. Mohive keeps only the text you choose to save with your request, never the recording.
Mohive does not sell your data or share it with anyone else.
Emails
Mohive emails you a code when you sign in, and tells you when something happens that concerns you. You can turn the second kind off in Settings. News and updates are sent only if you asked for them when you joined.
How long
For as long as your account exists. Deleting your account (Settings › Account) removes your profile, your requests and everything they reached, your applications, messages, connections, links and files. Where you passed someone else's request on, the people after you stay and simply show no sender.
Your rights
You can see and change your data in the app, delete your account there, and ask us for a copy or for anything else by writing to hello@mohive.app. If you are in the EU you can also complain to your data protection authority.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we tell you in the app before it applies.
